R6 Marketplace is an independent information site built by Rainbow Six Siege players who got tired of searching for clear, accurate answers about the Siege Marketplace and finding nothing useful.

We cover how the marketplace works, what skins are worth, how to buy and sell without getting burned, and what’s happening with the marketplace right now including its current offline status following the December 2025 backend exploit. Nothing on this site is sponsored, and we’re not paid to push any particular skin or listing.

Jordan has played Siege since the Year 1 beta and started trading on the Marketplace during its closed beta in early 2024. He’s bought and sold everything from mid-tier attachment skins to Black Ice variants, and watched the order book closely enough to know that pricing one Credit under the lowest active listing is usually the difference between a skin that sells in hours and one that sits for weeks. He writes about marketplace mechanics, skin values, and the in-game economy.

Maya came to Siege through the Siege X free-to-play relaunch in June 2025 and immediately ran into every new-player problem the marketplace throws at you eligibility confusion, inventory sync issues, and listings that never moved. She now covers the buyer’s side: how to find fair prices, what the rarity tiers actually mean, and how to avoid the scams that follow any player-to-player trading system.

Why we built this

Most sites covering the R6 Marketplace are thin pages scraped together around a keyword. They don’t explain how buy and sell orders actually work, they don’t tell you that your inventory won’t show up until you play a match to sync it, and they definitely don’t warn you that Credits frozen in pending orders during an outage can’t be recovered until the marketplace comes back online.

We built r6marketplace.co to be the page that actually answers what you came to ask with real numbers, real trade experience, and honest acknowledgment when something is uncertain or out of date (like any skin price right now, with the marketplace still down).
