🔍 R6 Marketplace Price Tracker

Skin prices on the R6 Marketplace don’t have a fixed rate card. They move with supply, demand, and whatever drama is happening with the economy at any given time like the 27 December 2025 exploit that took the whole marketplace offline and froze thousands of Credits in pending orders. The tracker below reflects last-known values pulled before the outage, with estimated ranges based on listing history, rarity tier, and community data from sources like Stats.CC and r/Rainbow6.

This is the reference a real seller uses: not a promise of what your skin will sell for, but a grounded starting point for pricing your listings and reading the order book.

Can’t find your skin? It may be unlisted, current-season locked, or simply hadn’t traded enough volume to register a reliable price range. Check the full table below.

Last-Known Price Reference Table

This table covers the most-searched skins and attachment cosmetics on the marketplace. Rarity tiers follow Ubisoft’s classification. The “Est. Floor” column is the approximate lowest-ask price seen before the outage. “Est. Ceiling” reflects peak buy orders or buy-now listings for the same item.

All prices are in R6 Credits the only currency accepted on the marketplace. There’s no cash-out option; Credits stay in your Ubisoft account.

Black Ice Weapon Skins

Black Ice is Siege’s most iconic skin line, originally offered in Alpha Packs during Year 1. Each version is weapon-specific there’s no universal Black Ice skin. Prices vary significantly depending on which weapon it’s for, with high-pick-rate operator weapons commanding a premium.

Why Jäger’s 416-C and Ash’s R4-C sit at the top: Both operators have some of the highest pick rates in the game. More players want the skin for their main operator, which compresses the supply side and inflates buy orders.

Glacier is a Year 1 Season 1 skin released in February 2016 one of the earliest cosmetics in Siege’s history. It’s a universal skin, meaning it applies to every weapon in your loadout, but the combination of age, limited original distribution, and historical demand puts it among the rarest items on the marketplace. The ceiling price climbs on high-demand periods and can spike well above 4,500 Credits. Take any listing under 2,000 Credits with skepticism before the marketplace returns that kind of listing either moved fast or was mispriced.

How the Price Data Works

Where These Numbers Come From

Stats.CC tracked active order book data from the marketplace, including live buy and sell orders, completed transactions, and price history over time. r6marketplace.co drew on that data alongside community reports from r/Rainbow6 and direct observation of marketplace listings to build the reference ranges above.

Stats.CC paused its tracker during the marketplace outage that started 27 December 2025. Once the marketplace is back online, the tracker on this page will pull updated data. Until then, every figure you see is a historical reference, not a live feed.

What “Est. Floor” and “Est. Ceiling” Actually Mean

The floor is the approximate price point where active sell orders started before the outage the cheapest realistic ask for that skin. The ceiling reflects the highest recorded buy orders or buy-now listings during the same period.

Your skin won’t necessarily sell at either number. The marketplace works on an order book system: when you list a skin, the system fills the lowest-priced sell order that matches an active buy order. If you list above the current floor, you’re waiting for someone to place a buy order at your price and that wait can be long.

Practical implication: if you want to sell, price one Credit under the cheapest active listing. That’s the move that actually sells skins, not listing at the ceiling and hoping.

The 10% Fee and What It Does to Your Price

Every transaction on the marketplace takes a 10% fee from the seller. That comes off what you receive, not what the buyer pays. So if you list a skin at 1,000 Credits, you receive 900 Credits when it sells.

That math matters when you’re reading price tables. A skin with an estimated floor of 500 Credits nets the seller 450 Credits after fees. If you’re buying to resell, factor the fee into both your buy price and your intended sell price, or you’ll shrink your margin faster than expected.

What the Marketplace Outage Means for Prices

The 27 December 2025 exploit didn’t just take the marketplace offline it flooded the economy with roughly 2 billion R6 Credits that shouldn’t exist. Ubisoft rolled back the duplicated Credits, but the full impact on market confidence and skin values isn’t measurable until the marketplace reopens.

What traders are watching for when it comes back:

  • Listing rush: sellers who’ve been sitting on inventory since December may flood the market at once, compressing prices across common skins
  • Buy order gaps: Credits frozen in pending orders during the rollback may not have been fully restored for all accounts, reducing buy-side liquidity in the short term
  • Rare skin premiums: Glacier, Black Ice R4-C, and the Jynxzi charm may see brief price spikes if pent-up demand outpaces new listings

Check r6marketplace.co’s Marketplace Status page for updates on the return date and any price movement reports from the community once trading reopens.

Understanding Rarity Tiers

Ubisoft’s rarity system directly influences price floors on the marketplace. Not as a rule Ubisoft enforces there are no price controls but because supply correlates with rarity. Legendary skins were distributed in smaller quantities, which means fewer listings and higher buy pressure.

Tier

Label

Typical Price Range (Credits)

1

Common

10–80

2

Uncommon

50–150

3

Rare

80–300

4

Epic

200–1,000

5

Legendary

600–4,500+

These ranges reflect general market behavior, not a hard rule. A Legendary skin that nobody wants still won’t sell above its demand ceiling, and a Rare skin tied to a viral moment can punch way above its tier.

What Affects a Skin’s Value

Rarity tier is the starting point, but four other factors move the number in practice:

Operator pick rate. Black Ice exists for dozens of weapons, but versions for Ash, Jäger, and Twitch consistently trade higher. If the operator is popular in ranked, demand for their exclusive weapon skins goes up with them. Seasonal meta shifts can raise or lower values for specific weapons.

Age and original distribution. Glacier came from Year 1 Season 1. Glacier hasn’t been in a pack, a bundle, or a Battle Pass since. That scarcity is baked in. Contrast that with skins from recent Battle Passes, which had far higher distribution and trade closer to floor price.

Tradability. Not every cosmetic is tradable on the marketplace. Items from the current season are locked until the season ends. Bundles sold directly through the Ubisoft Store may be non-tradable. If a skin you want isn’t showing up in the tracker or the marketplace search, tradability is the first thing to check.

Community events and content. The Jynxzi charm spiked when the streamer’s viewership peaked. Esports charms track event results. A major pro player switching operators can quietly nudge weapon skin prices for that operator’s primary gun. These are short-cycle effects, but they’re real.

FAQ

How do I check the current price of a skin on the R6 Marketplace?

Use the search tool at the top of this page to pull last-known values. When the marketplace is live, the most accurate method is to open the marketplace directly in Ubisoft Connect or the web portal and check active sell orders those are real listings from real players, not estimates. Sort by lowest price to see the current floor. The first listing you see is the one the system will fill first when a buy order comes in at that price.

Why aren’t my skins showing up in my marketplace inventory?

This catches almost every new seller off guard. Your in-game inventory doesn’t sync to the marketplace the moment you open it you have to play at least one match to trigger an inventory sync. Once you’ve done that, your tradable items should appear. If they still don’t show, check whether the item is from the current season (those are locked until season end) or whether it came from a bundle that’s marked non-tradable.

Is Black Ice worth buying on the marketplace?

Black Ice for high-pick-rate operators Ash’s R4-C, Jäger’s 416-C has held its value better than most Epic skins because demand stays steady regardless of the meta. That said, skin prices aren’t investments, and values shift. Before buying any Black Ice variant, check the active sell orders and buy orders on both sides to understand whether the market is liquid or thin. A skin with two sell listings and no buy orders is hard to resell if you change your mind.

What’s the rarest skin on the R6 Marketplace?

Glacier is widely considered the rarest tradable skin on the marketplace. It’s a universal skin from Year 1 Season 1 (February 2016) with no re-releases in almost a decade. Outside of Glacier, early Alpha Pack-exclusive Black Ice variants for retired or low-population weapons have very few listings. The Jynxzi charm is rare in a different sense high demand, but limited original supply from the event period.

Can I sell skins for real money on the R6 Marketplace?

No. The marketplace only pays out in R6 Credits, which stay in your Ubisoft account and can be spent on in-game purchases. There’s no cash-out to PayPal, bank transfers, or gift cards. Sites and Discord channels offering to buy skins for real money are off-platform deals that violate Ubisoft’s terms of service, and accounts involved in those transactions risk permanent bans. The scam rate in that grey market is also high you hand over the skin, they reverse the payment.

When will the R6 Marketplace come back online?

Ubisoft has tied the marketplace return to Year 11 and Operation Twin Shells, but no specific date has been confirmed as of this writing. The marketplace has been offline since 27 December 2025 following a backend exploit. Track the Marketplace Status page on this site for the latest updates, or follow Ubisoft’s official Rainbow Six Siege channels directly.

What is the 10% marketplace fee and when does it apply?

The 10% transaction fee applies to the seller on every completed sale. If you list a skin at 500 Credits and it sells, you receive 450 Credits. The buyer pays the listed price; you absorb the fee from your payout. There’s no fee on buy orders that don’t execute or sell orders that expire without a match. Factor this into your pricing especially on lower-value items where the fee can eat a significant portion of your expected return.

Before You Buy or Sell

The price tracker gives you a reference point. Actual marketplace behavior once it returns will depend on how much inventory sellers have built up since December, whether Ubisoft makes any changes to the economy or fee structure alongside the relaunch, and what the current season meta looks like at the time.
