The marketplace has been offline since 27 December 2025, so all price data comes from order book tracking via Stats.CC before the outage. Stats.CC paused recording when the marketplace went down, so these figures reflect where prices stood before that date, not what they’ll be when trading resumes.
Obsidian traded at several hundred R6 Credits before the outage, with the exact floor shifting based on how many sellers were active at a given time. It wasn’t in Black Ice territory at its most expensive the high-end Black Ice variants like Jäger’s 416-C reached further up the order book but Obsidian reliably sat above the mid-tier attachment skins and most weapon-specific rares.

How to get Obsidian
There’s only one legitimate way to get Obsidian now: the R6 Marketplace. It’s not available in the Bravo Store, it’s not in Ubisoft’s direct purchase catalogue, and it hasn’t been obtainable through Alpha Packs since that system was retired. If someone is offering you an Obsidian skin through Discord, a third-party site, or any off-platform deal, treat it as a scam. Those offers involve either fake transactions, account credential theft, or chargeback fraud.
When the marketplace is back online, the buying process works like this:
- Open the marketplace through the Siege client (PC) or the web portal (console players there’s no in-game marketplace tab on PlayStation or Xbox).
- Search for “Obsidian” in the marketplace search bar.
- Check the current sell orders from lowest to highest price.
- Either match the floor price for an immediate purchase, or place a buy order at a lower price and wait for a seller to meet it.
- After the transaction completes, play a match to sync your inventory the skin won’t appear in your loadout until your inventory refreshes.
Remember that R6 Credits are the only currency the marketplace accepts. Renown won’t work here. Credits come from the Ubisoft Store in packs starting at around $4.99 USD for 600 Credits.
